GCSE maths classes cover content from all major exam boards

This is the first of two Key Stage 4 years which culminate in the infamous GCSE exams. (Don't panic!)

Whether it's factorising quadratic equations, plotting histograms or trying desperately to remember what the cosine rule does, one thing is clear: maths is great fun when you get it, a nightmare when you don't. At GCSE this really matters - your results have a real impact on your future opportunities (inside and out of school).

HowCloud tutoring gives you live access to a real a teacher to get ahead with GCSE Maths. HowCloud's Year 10 classes introduce every concept from the ground up - we make sure every student gets the more advanced maths being introduced to them at GCSE level. This is a second chance for everything you didn't quite get the first time round at school. And it's great training in advance of Year 11.

Who can benefit from Year 10 tutoring?

Any student who is currently in Year 10 at secondary schools in the UK. Year 10 is the first year of GCSE studies - we introduce topics from the ground up, making sure foundational knowledge is strong and building confidence for exams in Year 11.

GCSE (Key Stage 4) is a big jump from Key Stage 3 and the stakes are much higher. HowCloud gives you a real teacher to help outside of school for a fraction of the price of a traditional private tutor.

What will be covered during Year 10 maths classes?

The HowCloud classes will focus on the trickier bits of the Year 10 maths syllabus which aren't covered thoroughly in schools. Working with hundreds of students to prepare for GCSEs has shown us the common problem areas in Year 11. Getting it right in Year 10 boosts confidence and results when the exams start.

Year 10 classes start on 15 November 2015

If you find that you need more (or less) hours per week with our teachers then you can always change or cancel your subscription package at any time without penalty.

How does the 14 day money back guarantee work?

If at any time during your first 14 days using HowCloud you realise it's not for you then you can cancel your subscription and get every penny back - no questions asked (although we do really appreciate your feedback)! Just contact our team via your account and we'll process a refund for you on the spot. Remember that even if you go beyond your first 14 days you can cancel your subscription at any time - we don't tie you up to any long term contracts.

Are classes recorded so I can watch them later?

Yes all classes are recorded and available for you to watch within 24 hours. The real value is in coming to the live classes but the recordings are always available for you to replay.

How many students attend each class?

The maximum number of students in a class is 20. The small groups and relaxed setting means everyone gets the attention they need to succeed.

Is there homework?

HowCloud teachers don't set homework exercises for students right now but they'll always recommend enrichment activities to help reinforce what has been learned during the class.
